Exploring Back Roads Rural North Carolina

Today my dad and I went out shooting at dusk. We traveled along Tusquitee Creek Road in North Carolina. He was shooting for reference to paint from and I am still experimenting with my new mirror-less Canon M6 camera. So far I am pleased with it. The dynamic range seems to be better than my 5D, but it is a couple years old now so that is expected. Anyway, we met this elderly couple out for a stroll. They were so cute together. It really was a beautiful day; not too hot yet and very few bugs. I did see in the paper last week that snake bites are up 60% in Georgia over last year so I kept my eyes open. The only snake we saw was a black snake, and he was crossing the road while we drove by. Spooky, but harmless.
