Grapevines In Snow
It doesn’t snow often in Georgia, so when it does I always like to make the best of it. Actually, it snows so infrequently that just the mention of the possibility sends most everyone scrambling to the grocery stores for provisions to survive the onslaught. Milk and eggs go quickly but the most amusing thing is that potato chips, cheese doodles, and beer always sell out completely! I think this mental proclivity originated with General Sherman’s visit to the city. Snow does come from “The North” after all.
