Another image from my trip to Paris last year (2019). The sun was setting on my last day and last walk before packing up the camera to travel back home. The light was magnificent here. The sun was very low, the light radiant gold. Even so, I knew before I lifted the viewfinder that this image was meant to be black and white. You would assume that the color of the light is what makes it so beautiful but there is another element to it. When it happens like this, it feels like finding a secret treasure -by seeing past what you expect to be the most important, you find an un-seen.
